This Sunday Pastor Cory Britt continued in our series Strength for the Broken Places and spoke about pride. He explained the many forms of pride, how we can recognize pride in our life, and how to move into a place of wholeness by balancing pride with humility.

12 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. 1. Can you think of times when pride is good in your life? (Ideas: Proud of a spouse or family member for success or achievement)
2. Have you ever experienced pride in its corrupted form? (Ideas: Arrogance, stubbornness, etc.)
3. Pride in its best form is choosing to place value in certain things while living a life of gratitude. What are some practical things you can do to move into a lifestyle of gratitude?
